Let's Help Together: Join Our Movement for Change
Global Vision Achiever Kenya is more than an organization – we are a movement of passionate individuals committed to creating lasting change in Kenya's most vulnerable communities. With our comprehensive initiatives spanning education, music & arts, health & nutrition, and child protection, we are constantly seeking dedicated volunteers who share our vision of a world where every child can thrive. Volunteering with GVA offers you the opportunity to make a real, measurable difference in the lives of children, families, and entire communities. Whether you have a few hours a week or can commit to longer-term involvement, there's a place for you in our volunteer family.
Whether you’re just starting out or changing careers, we’ll train you and match your passion with purpose.

Why Volunteer with GVA
-
Every volunteer contribution directly improves lives. You'll see the tangible results of your efforts in the children who gain confidence, the families who achieve stability, and the communities that grow stronger.
-
Our volunteer opportunities provide hands-on experience in community development, education, project management, and cross-cultural communication. Many volunteers discover new passions and career directions through their service.

You'll work alongside passionate staff, fellow volunteers, and community members who will become lifelong friends and collaborators in creating positive change.
-
Join a growing movement of people who believe that every child deserves the opportunity to reach their full potential, regardless of their circumstances.
How Volunteering Works: Your Journey to Impact
Step 1: Express Your Interest and Passion
Begin your volunteer journey by writing to us about your interest in serving with GVA. We want to know about your passions, skills, experiences, and what draws you to community development work.
Whether you’re a recent graduate looking to gain experience, a professional wanting to use your skills for social good, a retiree with time to give back, or someone simply looking to make a difference, we would love to hear from you.
Step 2: Choose Your Project and Role
Based on your interests, skills, and our current needs, we’ll present you with specific volunteer opportunities that match your profile.
We offer a wide range of volunteer roles to accommodate different interests, skills, and time commitments: Direct Service Opportunities: Education Support: Assist with tutoring, homework help, and educational activities in our MaMITO centres and youth programs Arts and Music Instruction: Lead or assist with theatre, music, dance, and visual arts programs for children and youth
Step 3: Complete Comprehensive Volunteer Training
All volunteers participate in our multi-stage orientation and training program, which typically takes place over several days or weeks depending on your role and availability. This training is essential for ensuring that you’re prepared to work effectively and safely in our communities.
Step 4: Begin Your Volunteer Experience
Once you’ve completed training, you’ll begin your volunteer service with full support from our staff team. We believe in providing ongoing guidance and support to ensure your volunteer experience is both meaningful and manageable.
